Kaluga is now an open-air city gallery
The Perekhod festival left new points of attraction in the city, and we took great photos of all the murals. Look, get inspired and take a walk along the route to see everything with your own eyes.
"Cosmopolis", courtyard of Studio 64
Alexey Vasiliev (Kaluga) and Stepan Krasnov (Moscow).
The facade became a symbolic space settlement: the orbits are people, ideas and events, and the viewer becomes part of this balance.
"Vertical", chimney at Teatralnaya 4t
Aesthetics Group / Slak & Petro (Moscow).
A powerful composition rises upward, and the floating figure at the top is a metaphor for the drive to develop and conquer space.
Portrait of Alexander Chizhevsky, School No. 5 (Dzerzhinskogo 49)
Misha Most (Moscow) and Yulia Agenosova (Kaluga).
The work is dedicated to the scientist and philosopher who reflected on the cosmic nature of life. The portrait is accompanied by a quote about the connection between humans and the Universe.
"Gravitational Threshold", Priokskaya hotel
Andrey Berger (Moscow).
Burgundy earth tones turn into blue space, and the border between them becomes a metaphor for the transformation of matter.
"Trolleybus No. 1"
Nootk (Moscow).
An ironic and fluid image of a city trolleybus, a symbol of movement, memory and the rhythm of urban life. Even in everyday life you can see the cosmos.
"Staircase", Volkov Square
STFNV (Moscow).
An optical illusion of an object colliding with particles, a metaphor for the transition between the earthly and the cosmic, between calculation and chance.
"Cosmic City. Dynamic Descent", retaining wall on Naberezhnaya Street
Spraystarru (Kaluga).
An abstract composition inspired by the principles of chromodynamics. Forms flow, shimmer and transform like energy in constant motion.
All the murals can now be seen in the courtyards and streets of Kaluga. Drop by, take photos and share your impressions.
The murals were made possible by the festival's main sponsor, Yandex Pay. Festival organiser: Kaluga Region Tourism Development Center.
